LA Live User Group

I'm giving a big talk next week at the LA Ableton Live user group monthly meeting about Max for Live. Here's the blurb from Ableton

**May 28: Los Angeles Ableton Live User Group welcomes Andrew Pask and Max for Live**

On May 28, Cycling '74's Andrew Pask, a content developer for Max for Live (Cycling '74's soon-to-be-released collaboration with Ableton) will visit the L.A. Ableton Live User Group. Andrew will present Max for Live and demonstrate some of its capabilities. For Live users with little or no Max experience, the presentation will provide some insight into the structure and use of Max, demonstrating how quickly and painlessly Max patches can be integrated into Live's workflow. Experienced Max users will have a chance to see how Live can enhance the Max experience. And, of course, there will be plenty of time for questions.

Andrew Pask is a Los Angeles-based saxophone player, clarinetist, and programmer. He has performed extensively in the U.S. and around the world and has recorded albums for West Coast Labels pfmentum and Ninewinds as both leader and sideman. His recent audio and video projects include a performance at the AK09 festival in Auckland, New Zealand, and video programming for Keri Bruno's "The God Project."
